Updated: Feb 19

Using Text replacement you can set up a shortcut called "mem" (My EMail) so you dont have to type your email out all the time.

Creating a Text Replacement for Your Email on iPhone:

Here's how to create a text replacement for "mem" to automatically expand your email address on your iPhone:

1. Open the Settings App:

Locate and tap on the Settings app on your iPhone.

2. Navigate to Keyboard Settings:

Scroll down and tap on "General," then select "Keyboard."

3. Access Text Replacement:

Under the "Keyboard" settings, tap on "Text Replacement."

4. Add a New Phrase:

Tap the "+" button at the top right corner to add a new phrase.

5. Fill in the Details:

  • In the "Phrase" field, type your email address.

  • In the "Shortcut" field, type "mem." This is the short phrase you'll type to trigger the replacement.

6. Save the Changes:

Tap "Save" in the top right corner to save your new text replacement.

7. Test it Out:

Open any app where you can type text, such as Notes or a messaging app. Type "mem" and see if it automatically expands to your full email address.

Additional Tips:

  • You can create multiple text replacements for different phrases and shortcuts.

  • Mha - My home address

  • Mwa - My work Address

I hope this helps you create a convenient way to type your email address on your iPhone!
