Are you ready to learn AI?

Three years ago, AI was a novelty. It made things up and you couldn't trust it with real work. That has changed. Every year it has become more accurate, easier to use, and better at working with your own emails, documents and spreadsheets.

Today it can save you hours every week: writing emails, summarising long reports, checking quotes and answering questions. The tools are ready. What makes the difference now is knowing how to ask, so it's a good time to learn.

What is a prompt?

A prompt is simply the question or instruction you type into the AI. Think of it like briefing a new staff member: the better the brief, the better the work you get back. Learning to write a good prompt is the single biggest step to getting great results.

The three C's of a great prompt

Follow these three rules every time you write a prompt.

  1. Be concise. Keep it short and simple, and ask for one thing at a time. A short, to-the-point prompt is easier for AI to get right than a long, complicated one.

  2. Be clear. Say exactly what you want. "Make this better" leaves AI guessing. "Rewrite this email to be friendlier and under 100 words" tells it exactly where to go.

  3. Be consistent. Use the same words for the same things. If you start by calling it a "spreadsheet", keep calling it a "spreadsheet". Switching to "sheet" or "table" halfway through can confuse it.

How I set it up for you

  1. A quick chat about where your business loses time.

  2. I set up the right AI tools for you, safely, on proper business accounts.

  3. A hands-on session using your own real work and the three C's.

  4. Ongoing support whenever you need a hand or the tools change.
